Together, we can make a lasting difference in children’s lives.
By providing basic educational supplies, we change children’s lives.

Whether stocking a local pantry or rebuilding after disasters, effective outreach starts with listening. We share frameworks and tools for programs that meet people where they are and leave them strong.
ይቻላል (Yechalal in Amharic) means “It is possible.”
It expresses hope, determination and belief that obstacles can be overcome.
In Ethiopian culture, the phrase has become a powerful national motto, strongly associated with Haile Gebreselassie, whose life journey from rural poverty to global athletic greatness embodied its meaning.

Behind every milestone stand volunteers, mentors, medics, coders, cooks, each with a story worth sharing. Celebrate their win and discover ways to recruit, train, and retain passionate teammates.
At Equip, Educate, Empower Children, we believe that by providing the essentials, pens and paper, children are encouraged and motivated to both attend school and continue education as they grow. Through a programme of sponsorship we are ensuring that children can continue their education.
How can you help?
You can contribute by sponsoring children, granting funds, or providing educational supplies like books and stationery. Every little bit helps, and each gift makes a difference.

Lifelong Service
Charity is not a single event; it’s a lifelong rhythm of empathy in action. We nurture that rhythm through mentorship pipelines and hands-on training that equip volunteers to grow from one-time helpers into seasoned servant-leaders. Workshops on trauma-informed care and systemic advocacy empower people to address root causes, not just symptoms.
By celebrating service milestones and providing ongoing educational resources, we foster a global network committed to transforming compassion into enduring, generational impact.

HAPPINESS
MATTERS

Born in Ethiopia, the birthplace of the coffee bean, I’m passionate about books and libraries. I believe in the transforming power of literacy and education.

I first saw the impact of poverty in Ethiopia on a visit in 2015 and after my second visit in 2017 I was moved, along with Getaneh, to do something more and so we have started this project.
